We are thrilled to join forces with Performance Running Outfitters as the official Training Partner of the Brewers Mini-Marathon! Performance Running Outfitters is locally owned by Trae and Jessica Hoepner, who together have over 20 years of coaching and 30 years of running expertise.  

 

 

 


Brewers Mini-Marathon Training Program

Saturdays 7:15 AM - Brookfield PRO - Starts July 22
Performance Running Outfitters Half Marathon training program is geared towards those comfortable running 4 miles and are looking to increase their mileage and fitness. This is a progressive course which will focus on completing a longer distance each week. We’ll provide a supportive and structured training class to help you complete the Brewers Half Marathon, whether you’re a seasoned runner or a first timer.  This class is taught by our in-house certified coach, Nicole who also has a degree in exercise physiology and is a certified running coach.

Program Participants will receive:

  • Tech Tee 
  • Weekly emails with advice from in-house coach 
  • Complete 12 week training plan to prepare you for the Brewers Mini-Marathon
  • PRO Coupon 
  • Video Gait analysis with footwear recommendation
  • Seminars on cadence & speed, nutrition & hydration, etc
  • $15 in-store coupon to use during duration of program

Brewers 10K Training Program

Wednesdays 6:00 PM - Brookfield PRO - Starts July 26
Tuesdays 6:00 PM - Shorewood PRO - Starts July 25
Performance Running Outfitters 10k training program is geared towards those comfortable running 2 miles and are looking to increase their mileage and fitness. This is a progressive course which will focus on completing a longer distance each week. We’ll provide a supportive and structured training class to help you complete a 10k in 10 weeks and get you ready for the Brewers 10k. This class will have 2 written training plan options for beginner 10k runners or for those who have completed a 10k before (all plans will run the same distance at class). This class is taught by our in-house coach, Nicole who also has a degree in exercise physiology and is a certified running coach.

Program Participants will receive:

  • Weekly outside training runs focused on endurance development and increasing mileage 
  • Pacing guidelines to help you properly train within YOUR ability 
  • Groups accountability and focus 
  • Weekly training topics and email support from a certified coach 
  • Support from running mentors on each run

Topics on how to properly train including: 

  • Good Form Running Clinic 
  • Foam Rolling and Recovery 
  • Proper nutrition for pre & post runs 
  • Summer Apparel 101: make the temperatures and your training more bearable! 

And you also get: 

  • Free PRO training shirt 
  • $15 Voucher to PRO to use during the duration of the class

Brewers 5K Training Program

Wednesdays 6:00 PM - Brookfield PRO - July 26
Do you want to complete a 5K and don’t know where to begin? Then this is the class for you! Our 5K 101 program is geared towards beginning runners or runners who have taken a break from consistent training and want to get back in shape. This is a progressive course which will focus on completing a longer distance each week. The class will finish by running 3.1 miles the Brewers Mini 5K! Completing a 5K will be just the beginning steps towards an improved lifestyle!  This class is taught by our in-house coach, Nicole who also has a degree in exercise physiology and is a certified running coach.
It is recommended that you can walk for 30 minutes before beginning this program and have an “ok” from a medical professional with a clean bill of health. 

Program Participants will receive:

  • Weekly outside training runs focused on endurance development and increasing mileage 
  • Pacing guidelines to help you properly train within YOUR ability 
  • Groups accountability and focus
