We are pleased to announce that Performance Running Outfitters is the official Training Partner of the Brewers Mini-Marathon + 10K! Performance Running Outfitters is locally owned by Trae and Jessica Hoepner, who together have over 20 years of coaching and 30 years of running expertise. 

 

Brewers Mini-Marathon Training Program

 

Are you looking to go to the next level with your running? The PRO Half Marathon program is geared towards the moderately fit runner who has already finished a 5k or 10k and wants more of a challenge with our weekly motivation. This is a progressive course which will focus on completing a longer distance each week. PRO will provide a training program, weekly emails with motivation and necessary information for new runners. The Fall 2015 class will finish by running the Brewers Mini Marathon on September 26th in Milwaukee. Completing a Half Marathon will be a rewarding start to your future racing!

 

It is recommended that you can run a 4 miles before beginning this program and have an “ok” from a medical professional with a clean bill of health. During the program the group will meet on Saturdays each week for 12 weeks. Runners looking for additional group support are encouraged to attend the Thursday fun runs.

Program Participants will  receive:

  • Tech Tee
  • Running Socks
  • Weekly emails with advice from coach 
  • Complete 12 week training plan

  • Video Gait analysis with footwear recommendation
  • Seminars on cadence & speed, nutrition & hydration, etc

Informational Meeting - Tuesday, June 16th at 7pm at the Brookfield location

Deadline to Register - Friday, July 3rd

Program Begins - Saturday, July 11th at 7am at the Brookfield location

 

Program fee is $85 and does not include race registration fee.

Brewers 10K Training Program

 

Have you completed a 5k and want to challenge yourself with a farther distance? Then this is the class for you! The PRO Get Fit 10k program is geared towards the moderately fit runner, former runner, or beginning runner who has already finished a 5k and wants more of a challenge with our weekly motivation. This is a progressive course which will focus on completing a longer distance each week. PRO will provide a training program, weekly emails with motivation and necessary information for new runners. The Fall 2015 class will finish by running the Brewers 10k on September 26th in Milwaukee. Completing a 10k will be a rewarding start to your future racing!

 

It is recommended that you can run a 5k before beginning this program and have an “ok” from a medical professional with a clean bill of health. During the 8 week program the group will meet once a week for a scheduled group run. Runners looking for additional group support are encouraged to attend the Thursday or Saturday fun runs.
